Pune Crime News | Robbery at builder’s house in Uttam Nagar; Thieves decamp with goods worth ₹29 lakh
PUNE : Pune Crime News | A builder went to meet his friend at midnight. In two hours, unidentified persons stole goods worth ₹29 lakh including cash of ₹12 lakh.
Akshay Suresh Nanekar (30), a resident of New Kopare, has lodged a complaint (76/2023) at the Uttam Nagar police station. The incident took place on Sunday from 12 midnight to 2.15 am.
According to the police, Akshay Nanekar is a builder. His wife had gone to Pashan because her sister’s marriage had been fixed.
Nanekar locked his house at 12 midnight and went to Donje to meet his friend. He returned at 2.15 am. The thieves struck during the period. They broke the latch and entered the house and broke the locker. They took away 31 tolas of gold, ₹12 lakh cash, mobile and laptop totally worth ₹29 lakh. PI Shaikh is probing the case.
