Pune: Policenama online – Pune Crime | A project manager of a company cheated the company of Rs. 9.8 crore by pilfering diesel, asphalt, iron and gravel for road works. A case has been registered against the manager at the Kondhwa Police Station. The incident took place between 2016 and 30 November 2021. (Pune Crime)
Brijendrakumar Indradev Singh (42) from NIBM Road has filed a complaint at the Kondhwa Police Station. The police have registered a case against project manager Sham Ashok Nikam from Ahmednagar.
According to the police, Sham Nikam was working as the project manager in Roadways Solution India Infra, the complainant company. At that time, Nikam oversaw projects like Khed-Sinnar Bypass, Mhaswad-Piliv, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi-Pandharpur, Satara-Rahimatpur. During that time, Nikam cheated the company of a total of over Rs 9.08 crore in diesel, asphalt, iron, gravel, boulder, panel replacement. API Mohite is conducting further investigation.
