Pune crime | Society member booked for harassing a woman for withdrawing molestation complaint against society chairman

Pune : Policenama online – Pune crime | A woman lodged a molestation complaint against a housing society chairman following a dispute. A member of the society asked her to withdraw the complaint. Hence, he used to follow the complainant woman, gesticulated at her and caused mental agony to her.

The Kondhwa police have booked the 40-year-old man in this regard as the woman lodged a complaint against him. According to the police, the complainant and the accused stay in the same housing society in Lullanagar.

The complainant had filed a molestation complaint against the chairman of the society. He has been booked in the case. The incident had taken place in July 2021. Later, another person tried to put pressure on the woman to withdraw the complaint against the chairman.

The man used to follow the complainant. He would say, “I would do the same to you what the chairman has done with you. We will drive you mad.” He used stand below her balcony and say, “I will come upstairs and kill you.” He used to gesticulate at her while saying this. He was doing it since July 6.

Finally, the complainant approached the police and filed a complaint. PSI Jadhav is investigating the case.
