In this case, the senior citizen woman from Mundhwa has lodged a complaint at the Mundhwa Police Station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against five people, including her two children, daughter-in-laws and granddaughter. The incident happened between April 16, 2012 and December 5, 2022. According to the police, the complainant is a senior citizen.
Her sons and daughter-in-laws did not look after her initially. After knowing that she is going to get money from her home, they came to her and started caring for her. They took her signature on the pretext of some court work. Then they withdrew Rs 46 lakh from her account without her knowledge. By turning off the water and light of the house, they refused to take care of her and harassed her mentally and physically. They tried to physically assault her and abused her. Finally, she went to the police. PSI Gade is conducting further investigation.
