Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime | The Uttam Nagar police have exposed a murder committed by a woman who throttled her husband as he was harassing her on the suspicion of her character, and tried to make it appear like a suicide, by arresting the woman. (Pune Crime)
The accused has been identified as Nandini Ramesh Bhise alias Nandini Raju Dhas (40), a resident of Landge Nivas, Uttam Nagar. Ramesh Bhise is the name of her husband. The incident took place on April 5 at 12.30 am.
API PM Waghmare has filed a complaint. According to the police, Ramesh and Nandini were a couple and Ramesh was not doing any work. He used to drink alcohol regularly and used to doubt his wife’s character and demand money from her. He used to humiliate her in front of her relatives. On April 5, he did not allow Nandini to cook food at 12.30 am and there was a quarrel between them on the issue. Later, Ramesh went to sleep. Nandini strangled him with a nylon rope. Then, she put his body in a sitting position.
She put a rope around his neck and tied the rope to a iron hook and made it appear that her husband had committed suicide. At 2.30 am, she called her son and relatives and told them that Ramesh had committed suicide and removed the rope and laid his body on the ground. The police were informed that Ramesh had committed suicide. Ramesh’s body was sent to the Sassoon Hospital for the post-mortem. The report said that Ramesh had died after being throttled. The police registered a murder case and arrested Nandini Bhise. The court has remanded her in police custody till April 12.
