Pune International Literary Festival to kick off on December 21

Pune : Policenama online The Pune International Literary Festival (PILF), will be held between December 21 and 23. This is the ninth year of the festival and it is being held online for the second consecutive year.

 

Vishwakarma Publications is organsing the festival. Over 150 speakers from countries like Ireland, Australia, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States of America will speak in 70 sessions in three different online studios during the meet, said Festival Founder-Director Manjiti Prabhu.

 

The objective behind the event is to celebrate words in all their forms. It is a forum for writers and readers to come together and get inspired, she said.

 

Cecelia Ahern, Alexandra Pringle, Carl A Harte, Dr Mark Aldridge, Helen Smith, Liz Nugent, Maria Frederick, James Ziskin, Sam Blake, Stefano Pele, Sujata Massey, Vicky Satello, Elizabeth Cratch, Janet Rudolf, Shashi Tharoor, Mira Nair, Nayantara Sahgal, Shobha De, Remo Fernandes, Guru Thakur, Bharat Dabholkar, Ashwin Sanghi, Manjiri Prabhu, Raj Nayak, Ambika Ayyadurai, Anahita Dhondi, Anirban Bhattacharya, Antoine Louis, Suhail Mathur, Anjali Bhushan, and Arpan Roy will be among the spekers.
