Pune : Policenama online – A woman was raped by blackmailing to post her video filmed while she was bathing on social media. She was also beaten up. The incident took place in December 2021 in Hinjewadi.
The Hinjewadi police have booked the step brother-in-law of the victim. The 25-year-old victim lodged a complaint in this regard on Saturday. According to the police, the accused is the victim’s step brother-in-law. He threatened her to make her intimate video clip viral on social media. He also beat her and raped her at her home.
This incident happened at around 3 pm on December 16, 2021 and 4-5 days later too. The complainant did not register a complaint then as she feared bad name for her and the family.
