Case filed against youth for raping minor relative
Pune/Chakan : Policenama online – Pune Minor Girl Rape Case | An incident has come to light wherein a youth raped a minor who is his relative, when he had taken her for an outing. The shocking incident came to light when the girl became pregnant. A case has been filed against the 25-year-old youth under sections 376, 506 of the IPC and the POCSO Act.
The girl’s mother (33) lodged a complaint at the Mhalunge police station on Sunday. Accordingly, the police have filed a case against Shrikant Titkare (25), a resident of Khed. The incident took place in November 2021 on a hill in the limits of Nighoj village.
According to the police, the complainant and the accused are related to each other. The accused, Shrikant Titkare, took the complainant’s 13-year-old daughter for an outing on the hill of the Nighoj village. He forcefully raped the girl. The incident came to light when the girl became eight months pregnant. PSI Dinesh Chavan is carrying out further investigation.
