Pune: NCP President Sharad Pawar inaugurated a 45-meter high National flag in Warje, Pune on Saturday (January 23). The 45-meter-high national flag was set up with the efforts of Corporator Sachin Dodke. While addressing the general public he spoke about his experiences in 50-year long political career.

Pawar said, “ I have 50 years of political career and the general public does not forget the person who works for them. Warje is the best example of development and how an active member of Municipal administration can change the face of an area.” He further said, “People from Khadakwasla have always supported me with their immense votes. Earlier this was agricultural land, but now I have seen buildings being developed and constructed, Warje has changed its face completely”

MP Supriya Sule who was also present during the event said, “The grand flag has been hoisted here as the pride of our country as NDA is close to Warje”.

MP Supriya Sule, MLA Chetan Tupe, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Leader of Opposition Deepali Dhumal, Corporator Sachin Dodke, Laxmi Dudhane, Dilip Barate, Sayali Wanjle, Rupali Chakankar, Swati Pokle, Deepak Mankar, Baburao Chandere, Kaka Chavan, Anita Ingale, Yogesh Dodke, Shukracharya Wanjle, Baba Dhumal and office bearers of various parties were present at the event.
