Pune News | Parents of kids who were sent out of smoking zone, create ruckus in restaurant, assault customer

PUNE/PIMPRI : Pune News | A customer who had gone to the smoking zone of a restaurant to smoke, sent the children playing there outside by telling the waiter. The parents of the children, who were angry, assaulted the customer. The incident took place at Punjabiz restaurant on Saturday at 9.45 pm in Sutarwadi, Pashan. (Pune News)

Niranjan Sanjeevan Harshe (42), a resident of Aundh, lodged a complaint at the Hinjewadi police station on Sunday. Accordingly, an FIR has been registered against Swapnil Shankar Birajdar (40), a resident of Wakad, Shlok Sudesh Honrao (27), a resident of Vadgaon, Siddharth Santosh Honrao (36), a resident of Gultekdi, Samrat Satish Honrao (34), a resident of Gultekdi, Shantanu Sandip Honrao (31), a resident of Swargate and two other unidentified persons.

According to the police, the complainant Harshe had gone to Punjabiz restaurant with his wife and friend. Before having dinner, he went to the smoking zone to have a smoke. He saw that children were playing there. Harshe called the waiter and asked him to send the children outside. The waiter did likewise.

After some time, the parents of the children came there. They were angry because their children had been told to go away from the area. The parents assaulted Harshe. When his wife tried to intervene, she was pushed aside. They abused Harshe’s friend. They assaulted Harshe’s friend and injured her. The complaint states that the parents threatened Harshe that he would be killed.
