Pune News: SG Kolte replaces SP Singh as PMPML CMD
Pune: Policenama online – Pune News | PMPML CMD Sachindra Pratap Singh has been transferred as the Divyaang Welfare Commissioner, Pune. SG Kolte will be the new PMPML CMD. Additional Chief Secretary (GAD) Nitin Gadre issued an order in this regard on Monday. Singh had replaced Om Prakash Bakoria a couple of months ago as the PMPML CMD. During Singh’s tenure, he introduced UPI QR-code based ticketing in PMPML. (Pune News)
Singh brought maximum buses from the fleet on the roads. Public utility’s revenue started growing. He was planning to develop PMPML properties to increase revenue. However, he has been transferred. He was the 7th CMD in the past five years. None of them completed their tenure. Experts said this has adversely affected the PMPML growth.
