Pimpri : Policenama online –Pune Pimpri Crime | A man committed suicide by jumping into the Kejudevi barrage after writing a suicide note that his body should be dumped in a ditch as there is no one to mourn his death. The incident came to light on Friday morning at Thergaon. The deceased has been identified as Suresh Kumar, a resident of Kerala. The incident has been recorded at Wakad police station and the police are probing whether this is a suicide case or something else.
According to the police, they received information that a body was floating in the Kejudevi barrage. The police went to the spot and retrieved the body. The police found a suicide note at the spot. The note reads, “I had come to the city looking for a job but I did not get one. I don’t have money in my pocket and food to eat. Hence, I am committing suicide.”
“Throw my body in a ditch as there is no one to mourn my death,” the letter reads. The police have seized the letter. The Wakad police are investigating whether the letter has been written by Suresh or there is a conspiracy behind it.
