Pune-Pimpri | Not a suicide, young woman killed by lover in Pimpri Chinchwad
Pimpri : Policenama online – A young woman was strangled to death by her lover for rejecting his marriage proposal. Earlier, the lover staged it as a suicide. However, the post-mortem report revealed that she was killed by strangling. (Pune-Pimpri)
An offence has been registered against her lover. The victim has been identified as Sapna Ashok Gaware. She was preparing for the MPSC exams. The incident took place at Oyo Hotel Town. The victim’s father Ashok Narayan Gaware lodged a complaint at the Wakad police station in this regard.
The accused has been identified as Hemant Ashok Mohite (27). He has been booked for the murder, said Senior PI Dr Vivek Muglikar. The victim and the accused hail from Vashi of Osmanabad district.
