Pune Police News | API Vijay Mane dies due to heart attack
Pune: Pune Police News | API Vijay Mane alias Garib Mane, who was posted in the Pune Railway Police Force, died due to heart attack while he was returning home from his duty on Thursday evening. He was 57.
He was posted at the Pune Railway Station Police Station. He was going home when he started feeling the pain in his chest on Ahmednagar road. He immediately rushed to a hospital near his house. However, he died due to the severe heart attack.
API Mane used to introduce himself as Garib Mane. He was known by his moustaches. His colleagues used to often repeat a famous dialogue from Amitabh Bachhan’s film ‘Sharabi’: ‘Muchhe ho to Nathulal jaisi ho, varna na ho’. They used to say: ‘Muchhe ho to Vijay Mane jaisi ho.’
