Pune Police News | Dilly Dallying in registration of FIR against builder; Probe ordered against PI and PSI

PUNE : Pune Police News | The Divisional Police Authority has sent a recommendation to the state government that the then PI of Sahakar Nagar police station and PSI should be probed for dilly dallying on registering an FIR against a builder in a cheating case involving the purchase of flat.
The President of the authority RV Jatale and member BG Gaikar have issued the order. Shobhana Mohan Dengle, a resident of Dhankawadi, had lodged a complaint at the Divisional Police Authority against former PI Anil Shewale and PSI Bapu Khengre of Sahakar Nagar police station.
Shobhana Dengle had purchased a flat in a scheme to be constructed by BD Construction Pune. The builder, instead of giving her a flat on the third floor, gave her a flat on the fifth floor. Dengle had lodged a complaint against the builder on Augut 31, 2019. She had met PI Anil Shewale and PSI Bapu Khengre but an FIR had not been registered against the builder. She later complained at the Divisional Police Authority.
The Divisional Police Authority heard both sides and informed the state government that a probe be held against them. An order issued by the authority says that a copy of the order should be sent to ACS, Maharashtra Government and the Pune police commissioner.
