Pune: Sunil Kamble’s padyatra gets huge response in Pune Cantonment

Pune: An interesting fight is on the cards between the BJP and the Congress in the Pune Cantonment Board Assembly segment. Maha Yuti’s Sunil Kamble and MVA’s Ramesh Bagwe are the main opponents.

A huge padyatra was held by Kamble on Sunday in ward numbers 16 and 17 from Nivdung Vithoba Mandir, Azad Ali, where he sought blessings of the deity. Citizens participated in the walkathon in a large number.

Kamble interacted with citizens. He listened to their issues and promised to solve their problems in the near future. He said, “I was welcomed at various places by bursting firecrackers. I, along with my workers, saved many lives during the pandemic. I made available medical help to many citizens. Therefore, voters are giving an overwhelming response to my padyatras.”

BJP, NCP (AP), Shiv Sena (BT) and RPI (A) office-bearers and workers from Cantonment, former PMC House Leader Ganesh Bidkar, South Kannada BJP MP Captain Brijesh Chauta, NCP (AP) Chemist Front President Vinod Kalokhe, leader Sagar Pawar, Cantonment BJP’s Dilip Bahirat, Purushottam Pilley Anna, Mangilal Sharma, BJP City Unit Vice-president Tushar Patil, Cantonment Public Relations Head Ganesh Yadav, Cantonment General Secretary Vishal Konde, General Secretary Yash Walia, other office-bearers and workers were present.
