Pimpri : Policenama online – A tadipaar accused threatened police in Pimpri Chinchwad for taking action against him on Tuesday afternoon. FIR has been lodged at Bhosari police station and the accused has been arrested.

The accused Ravindra Bansilal Bhalerao (22, resident of Landge Vasti, behind Roshan Garden, Bhosari) was externed from Pune district. Police constable from anti-robbery squad from Pimpri Chinchwad crime branch, Sumit Dattatreya Deokar lodged a complaint at Bhosari police station against Bhalerao for threatening police.

According to the police, Bhalerao was externed from the jurisdiction of Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate and Pune Police Commissionerate and Pune rural police area on March 26, 2021. The action was taken by the Deputy Commissioner of Police of zone one. Yet Bhalerao stayed in the city without prior permission of the police. On getting his tip-off police tracked him. When they went to arrest him he abused them and threatened them. He was arrested. Assistant Police Inspector Gaikwad is investigating the matter.
