Pune : Policenama online  – Twenty-two parking areas have been created for people who are going to visit the Victory Pillar in Koregaon Bhima on the anniversary of the historic battle.


The PMPML has made 260 buses available for the convenience of visitors on December 31 and January 1.


A change has been made in traffic arrangements and it will be in force from midnight of December 31 to midnight of January 1.


The changes will be as following:


Vehicles will not be allowed to travel from Chakan to Shikrapur and vice versa.


Heavy vehicles travelling from Ahmednagar to Pune/Mumbai will travel via Shirur, Ravra phata, Ravra, Pargaon, Chafula, Yavat, Hadapsar to Pune. Heavy vehicles going to Ahmednagar will travel via Kharadi bypass, Hadapsar, Pune-Solapur highway, Chafula, Kedgaon, Ravra, Shirur and Ahmednagar.


Heavy vehicles and tempos travelling via Solapur highway to Alandi-Chakan will travel via Hadapsar, Magarpatta, Kharadi bypass and Vishrantwadi.


Heavy vehicles and tempos/trucks travelling from Mumbai to Ahmednagar will travel via Vadgaon Maval, Chakan, Khed, Manchar, Narayangaon and Ale phata. Light vehicles travelling from Mumbai to Ahmednagar will travel by Vadgaon Maval, Chakan, Khed, Pabal and Shirur.


No public and private vehicle will be allowed to travel from Alandi-Shelpimpalgaon Bahul Sablewadi. No vehicles will be allowed to travel from Alandi to Markal and Lonikand and vice versa.


Heavy vehicles coming from Nashik will not go to Shikrapur but travel by Talegaon Chakan chowk to Moshi and Talegaon.


Vehicles travelling by old Pune-Mumbai highway will not travel to Nigdi, Pimpri, Chinchwad from central chowk but will travel by Mumbai Bangalore highway to Wakad naka, Chandni chowk to their destination.


Vehicles coming to Pune from Mumbai via the E-way will travel via Mumbai Bangalore highway via Urse toll plaza to Wakad naka and Radha chowk to Pune


Vehicles travelling by E-way and going to Talegaon will travel via Urse toll plaza to Dehu Road via the bypass


Vehicles travelling from Nashik and Talegaon will travel by Moshi, Nashik phata towards Pune city
