Puneite gives a piece of his mind to Shiv Sena MLA, his driver (Video)

Pune: A video clip has been circulating on social media about a Puneite questioning an MLA and his driver over blowing their car’s siren on Tilak Road.

The incident happened on Sunday (August 11). A rally of Maratha quota leader Manoj Jarange Patil was passing through the city from Sarasbaug to Deccan Gymkhana. Traffic was diverted from many roads to avoid congestion and for the rally’s smooth passage.

Shiv Sena MLA Kishor Darade was travelling on Tilak Road. His driver blew the siren. A Puneite questioned him why he was blowing the siren. Then the Puneite questioned MLA Darade too. Both could not reply to his queries.

The Puneite saw the driver had not fastened the seat belt. When he started questioning him. The driver quickly tried to fasten the seat before the Puneite could point out his fault but the quintessential Puneite said, “Why are you fastening the seat belt now? You were driving without the seat belt. Why are you blowing the siren? The MLA is sitting in the car. Does that mean you have a licence to blow the siren? Do not look at the traffic police. We are here to watch you. We elect MLAs. Who gave you permission to blow the horn? And why are you tying the seat belt now?”

Neither the driver nor the MLA could utter a single word.
