‘Punit Balan – Kedar Jadhav Cricket Academy’ – New venture announced

Pune, April 20: Policenama onlinePunit Balan, Chairman of Punit Balan Group and Indian Cricketer Kedar Jadhav have joined hands for “Punit Balan – Kedar Jadhav Cricket Academy” in Pune.

 

Mr. Punit Balan and Kedar Jadhav said while announcing this venture in the formal function, Pune City has a rich historical heritage of Cricket. Pune city has witnessed many national and international players. The academy is being formed with an intention of developing the talents of young players in Pune and building their careers in cricket as well. The academy is currently operating from Kothrud and The Punit Balan group has been actively supporting this venture. Punit Balan – Kedar Jadhav Cricket Academy – the new chapter of this academy is just about to begin.

 

Punit Balan also mentioned the close association of his group and cricket. Punit Balan group has set a park in Pune’s cricket field by organising many tournaments. Tournaments for Boys under the age of 12, 14 and 17 years, 20-20 tournaments for corporate groups are also organised by group. Now Group is all set to step in as the academy for young boys of city. Balan Group also supported players in Cycling, Shooting, Taekwondo, Kho-Kho, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Handball sports.

 

Indian Cricket player and Maharashtra Ranji player Kedar Jadhav said that, I started my career in Pune and my journey begin from here itself. I became a part of Indian cricket team by achieving my goals step by step and learning from every moment. I have played many matches in One Day international and Twenty-20 format. I have also played in ODI World Cup 2019. I wish this academy will produce many talented players and give them a chance to play their “Innings”. I believe that our academy will play an important part of their journey and carrier.

 

Punit Balan and Kedar Jadhav explained goals of the academy which includes, providing quality coaching to cricketers through qualified coaches, to give premier practice and training facilities to aspiring cricketers. Promote Women’s cricket, as the participation of ladies in this game in increasing. Foster dream of blind and handicap players and provide a platform to unbound their talent. Groom players who would represent at national and international level. Promote, upgrade and strengthen local level and corporate cricket by organising competitive cricket tournaments. Also organises tournament for under 12, 14, 17 year’s boys and girls. Support economically backward but deserving players through this academy.
