Punjab: Fighter jet MiG-21 crashed in Moga, Search for pilot continues

Chandigarh : Fighter Jet MiG 21 crashed around 1 pm in Moga, Punjab. According to the information received, due to training, Pilot Abhinav took a flight from MiG-21 to Suratgarh, Rajasthan, after which the aircraft crashed. It is also known that the pilot Abhinav got out of the jet, he is being searched.

Indian Air Force officials say that fighter jet MiG-21 crashed around 1 am near Langiana Khurd, village of Bagha Purana, a town in Moga. High officials of administration and army have reached the spot, but pilot Abhinav has not been found yet. A search operation is being conducted to search him.

At one time, fighter jet MiG-21 aircraft were considered to be the backbone of the Indian Air Force. Now it has only four squadrons left. They may have been taken care of and upgraded, but these aircraft are neither fit for war nor flight.

However, due to the  MiG-21 aircraft constantly crashing, many pilots have lost their lives, now it is time to remove these aircraft as soon as possible. The Air Force has been using MiG-21 aircraft since 1960. The Air Force has been continuously saying that it has not made any agreement to keep these aircraft ready for war, no matter how old they are.
