Putin congratulates Vucic on New Year, expresses hope for continued cooperation

Belgrade, Dec 25 (UNI)- Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on the upcoming New Year and Christmas and expressed hope for continued cooperation, Vucic’s office said on Monday.
“Regardless of the difficult situation in the world, relations between Russia and Serbia, which are based on centuries-old traditions of friendship and spiritual closeness, are developing in a constructive spirit. I look forward to continuing our dialogue and productive collaboration on current issues on the bilateral, regional, and international agenda,” the office said in a statement, quoting Putin.
The Russian president also congratulated his Serbian counterpart on the upcoming New Year and Christmas and wished him health, prosperity, and success, as well as peace and prosperity for the “brotherly Serbian people,” the office added.
