New Delhi : During the tractor parade on the day of Republic Day in Delhi, the protest turned into violence. The statement came from the government on Wednesday, a day after the violence in the capital. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the way the tricolor was disrespected at the Red Fort, the country will not tolerate it. Javadekar alleged that Congress-Rahul Gandhi has incited the peasant movement continuously. Congress-Left wants unrest in the country.

Prakash Javadekar said in a press conference that the Congress is frustrated and disappointed. It does not want to have an agreement between the farmer and the government. It is the Congress that provoked the farmers. Javadekar alleged that Rahul Gandhi was constantly instigating the farmers. He did the same during the CAA performance. The tweets of the Youth Congress and other Congress related organizations were also provocative.

On 26 January, regarding the disturbance on the streets of Delhi, the Union Minister said that what happened at the Red Fort, was the protest in Nangloi non-violent? One tweet stated that “non-violent protest is being instigated to make it violent”. Many police personnel were injured, it was not a non-violent march at all.

The Youth Congress said that it supports the tractor rally! What tractors? Who was seen crushing police vehicles, buses? Everyone saw what happened in the ITO. After all this was done, Rahul Gandhi tweeted and condemned the violence.

Javadekar said that Delhi Police yesterday showed a lot of restraint. They had weapons but did not use them. They were attacked fiercely but still they showed restraint. More than 100 police personnel have been injured in Delhi violence. They are still undergoing treatment in the hospital.
