Rainfall likely across Maharashtra for next three days: IMD
Pune : Policenama online -A low pressure area (LPA) formed in a belt from Rajasthan to Vidarbha may cause rain across Maharashtra in the next three days. Meanwhile, temperatures rose by 1.5 to 2 degrees Celsius in the State. (Rain in Maharashtra)
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted unseasonal rainfall accompanied by a thunderstorm from December 28 to 30. The factors responsible for this are the LPA formed from south-west Rajasthan to Vidarbha. Rain may directly arrive in Vidarbha from that direction.
A storm has activated in east Afghanistan and western Pakistan. The third factor is cyclonic circulations formed over Rajasthan and Bihar. This will result in rain in 26 states in the country. Thick fog, along with rain, is likely to occur in North India.
