Ram Gopal Varma launches his own OTT platform, Announces first film

Mumbai : The theatre has been closed since last year due to the growing infection of the coronavirus epidemic. Due to the closure of theaters, fewer films are being released on the OTT platform. OTT platform has become the first choice of people for entertainment.

Seeing the need for an OTT platform, Ram Gopal Varma has also launched his OTT platform. The OTT platform launched by the legendary director is Spark OTT. This OTT platform of Ramgopal Varma will be live from 15 May.

Director Ram Gopal Varma said that the film ‘D Company’ will be the first film to be screened on the platform. As the name itself suggests, this film will bring the stories of the underworld to the audience. The film’s story will revolve around underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his henchmen of the 1980s and 90s. The film was supposed to release on March 23 but the release of the film was postponed due to some reason.

Now the film will be released on Ram Gopal Varma’s OTT platform Spark OTT.
