Thackeray is stuck in conundrum made by Congress-NCP

Ramdas Athavale said, “It is not true that the BJP is trying to pull down the Maha Vikas Aghadi government by using the central investigation agencies. However, these agencies are doing their job. The Chief Minister is stuck in the conundrum created by the Congress and the NCP. It is still time. Thackeray should leave the Aghadi and join hands with the BJP. I have good relations with Thackeray. I will speak with him.”

BJP rule in five states going to polls

“The BJP will come to power in the five states that had elections. The BJP will get big success as people in UP, Punjab, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand are happy about PM Narendra Modi’s work. The ST, SC categories are getting benefits of decisions taken by PM Modi. The BJP-led NDA will make a clean sweep,” said Athavale.

Chhatrapati Shivaji did not need a guru

“There is an unnecessary row over Chhatrapati Shivaji’s guru. He was a self-independent king. He was an epitome of bravery and patience. Ramdas Swami was not his guru. Rajmata Jijau was his guru. I will meet Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari over his remarks about Chhatrapati Shivaji. I will let him know my opinion on the matter. Samarth Ramdas Swami was a great man in his own right. However, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj did not need a guru. Chhatrapati Shivaji is seen as an idol across India,” said Athavale.

Ukraine’s problem

He composed an instant couplet in his inimitable style while commenting on the Russia-Ukraine war, he said, “Putin yancha bighadla ahe brain, mhanun pareshan ahe Ukraine, meaning Ukraine is unhappy as Putin’s brain is not functioning properly.”

He claimed that the central government is trying very hard to evacuate the Indians stuck in Ukraine. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi should not criticise the Centre for the sake of it. Suggestions are always welcome. It is very sad that an Indian student died in Ukraine.
