Rupee falls 3 paise against USD

Mumbai, May 31 (UNI) Rupee on Wednesday slipped three paise at 82.70 in the opening trade against the US Dollar on brisk demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at Foreign Exchange said.

The local unit tumbled down against other world currencies amid a negative equity market in the opening session.

The Rupee recorded intra days high and lows at 82.74 and 82.68 respectively.
