Riding on brilliant performances from Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh, India Legends defeated West Indies Legends by 12 runs in the semi-finals to make a place in the final of Road Safety World Series 2021.

Earlier in the match, West Indies skipper Brian Lara opted to bowl first, but the decision proved to be a disastrous one. The iconic opening duo of Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag went after the bowlers from the outset and added 56 runs for the first wicket. The baton was then passed onto Yusuf Pathan and Yuvraj Singh, who unleashed carnage at the Raipur Stadium.

Apart from India, teams from West Indies, Sri Lanka, England, and Bangladesh also participated in the Legends T20 tournament to convey the message of road safety. All these teams entertained the audience fiercely in the tournament. These veterans performed brilliantly, reminding them of bygone days. However, these players are promoting road safety messages not just on grounds but also off ground. One such message was given by Lara and Sachin, whose video Sachin posted on his Twitter handle.

Yuvraj has scored the most 17 sixes in the tournament so far and it reminds fans of his career. Where he would easily show the bowlers the way to the boundary.
