Sanjay Shirsat | Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar: Shinde group leader Sanjay Shirsat has once again targeted Thackeray group MP Sanjay Raut. NCP leader Jayant Patil on Monday arrived at the ED officr for questioning. NCP activists staged an agitation and shouted slogans against BJP and ED. Speaking about this, Shirsat said, “If we had used ED, many people would have landed in jail. If ED had behaved as per our orders, Sanjay Raut would have been in anda cell.”
Shirsat said, “ED notice is not a new thing. Sharad Pawar and Raj Thackeray had also received ED notice and they had gone to the ED office for questioning. However, now a new pattern of showing strength is being seen. If we had used ED, then many people would have been in jail. If ED had behaved as per our orders, Sanjay Raut would have been in the anda cell.”
MLA Aaditya Thackeray’s banner was put up in Nagpur which stated that he was a future CM. Reacting to it, Shirsat said, “It is happy news that someone is talking about a future CM. If a person could become CM by putting up banners, I would have pasted my banners in all cities.”
