Sensex up over 200 pts

Mumbai, Jan 18 (UNI) Share Market | The BSE Sensex on Wednesday further gained 208.15 pts at 60,683.87 in opening trade as buying was across the board. (Share Market)

The Nifty too rose 62.80 pts at 18,116.10.

The sensex registered intra day high and low at 60.879.44 and 60,569.19 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 18,123 and 18,032 pts respectively.

The Mid Cap moved up 0.20 pc and small Cap by 0.31 pc.

The gainers were Tata Steel by 1.84 pc to Rs 121.55, HDFC Bank by 1.52 pc to Rs 1633.05, Wipro by 1.45 pc to Rs 401.90 and HDFC by 1.07 pc to Rs 2669.

The losers were Tata motors by 1 pc to Rs 411.10, M& M by 0.86 pc to Rs 1308.60, Ultracemco by 0.47 pc to Rs 7339.25 and SBI by 0.28 pc to Rs 591.30.
