Due to rising temperatures, state education board declares holiday from Friday onwards

Mumbai, Apr 21 (UNI) State Education Board | Due to the rising temperatures across the state all the schools of the State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education have declared holidays from Friday onwards. (State Education Board)

 

The school education and sports department issued a government decision in this regard on Thursday night.

It has been ordered that if the schools of other boards in the state are running as per the schedule or if important educational activities are being implemented in such schools, then the school administration should take a decision at their level regarding declaring holidays.

 

Meanwhile, intense heat was experienced across the state due to erratic weather resulting in people facing hardships and day time temparature has crossed 40 Celsius at most of the places in the state.
