Three Chamba residents die in road accident in Lahaul Spiti

Shimla, Dec 25 (UNI)- Three people, including a woman, died in a road accident that occurred on the SKTT (Sansari-Killar-Tindi Tandi) route near Jahlman in Sub Division Udaipur.

Superintendent of Police Lahaul Spiti Mayanka Chaudhary said a Tata Safari (No. HP 45A 0202) fell off the road on the SKTT (Sansari-Killar-Tindi Tandi) route near Jahlman in Sub Division Udaipur on Sunday afternoon.

In this incident, three people, including a woman, were found dead on the spot. The bodies have been brought to RH Keylong for a post-mortem.

The deceased were identified as Rakesh Kumar (45), Chandro Devi (25), and Mohit (42)—all residents of villages Dharwas, Tehsil Pangi, and District Chamba HP.

The cause of the mishap was reported to be overspending. Bodies have been retrieved by the police from the spot.
