Union Minister Narayan Rane targets Sanjay Raut
Mumbai : Policenama online – Shiv Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut held a press conference on Tuesday and severely criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party. Many leaders of the BJP have hit back at Raut.
Union minister Narayan Rane addressed a press conference in Mumbai on Wednesday and levelled serious allegations against Raut saying Raut is eyeing the chief minister’s chair and has taken a ‘contract’ from the NCP to finish the Shiv Sena.
He said that Raut has not made any contribution to the Shiv Sena and he should stop addressing press conferences. The allegations made against Devendra Fadnavis and Kirit Somaiya are baseless, Rane said. He also criticised Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray during the press conference. He said Thackeray is the most helpless CM that the state has ever seen.
He also said that ED officials should not keep mum on the allegations levelled against the organisation by Raut.
He targeted Raut by saying he held the press conference because he is scared of something. No senior leader of Shiv Sena was present and even branch heads were also not present.
Rane said Sanjay Raut is scared as his relative Pravin Raut is being grilled by ED officials in the alleged fraudulent sale of FSI of a plot in Mumbai by a construction company.
Rane said instead of targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, leader of the opposition Devendra Fadnavis and the ED, he should talk about irregularities committed by him.
He said Raut had joined the Shiv Sena in 1992. Earlier, he used to criticise late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray. He said he was one of the persons who had raised funds for the construction of Shiv Sena Bhavan. Sanjay Raut has not even contributed Rs 5 for this cause, he said.
