Pune Crime News | Woman killed, body dumped into well; Complaint lodged at Hadapsar police station

PUNE : Policenama online  – Pune Crime News | An incident has come to light wherein a woman farm labourer was killed after being assaulted with a sharp weapon. The deceased has been identified as Usha Ashok Desmukh (50), a resident of Loni Kalbhor. (Pune Crime News)

 

Snehal Abhay Kalbhor (50), a resident of Manjari, has lodged a complaint (623/23) at the Hadapsar police station. The incident took place at Kuran Farm in Manjari on Monday from 2.30 pm to 6.15 pm.

 

According to the police, Usha Deshmukh was working as a labourer in the complainant’s farm. She had come to the farm as usual on Monday. Since she could not be found in the evening, a search was launched and her body was found in the well. It was found that she was assaulted with a sharp weapon and later, her body was thrown into the well. The Hadapsar police have registered an FIR of murder and API Shinde is probing the case.
