Launchpad 2023

IMED’s Launchpad is a unique activity where students of IMED showcase their entrepreneurial skills by exhibiting their products/services for sale.

This exhibit acts as a platform for students to test the feasibility and marketability of their products through which they get insights of starting their own startups.

This time 20 teams participated with a variety of products ranging from food, dry fruits, jewellery, photo booth, games and much more.

IMED has been always giving their students maximum exposure through many events and competitions to hone their entrepreneurial and management skills. This time IMED has also included their CWTED (Community Work through Entrepreneurship Development) vendors in the Launchpad.

CWTED is another unique activity of IMED where students help small street vendors viz; chaiwala, laundry, bike repairing etc, to enhance their business activity.

In this Launchpad, IMED’s five street vendors were given an opportunity to sell their products and earn profits. In the three days event, our students mentored these vendors in promoting, selling, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene while conducting their business activities.

The stalls received a great response wherein more than thousand customers visited them and enjoyed the offerings due to which the stalls were able to earn robust profits.
