पोलीसनामा ऑनलाइन टीम – नागालँड राज्यातील मोना जिल्ह्यात असणाऱ्या ओटिंग गावात शनिवारी गाडीमध्ये दहशतवादी असल्याच्या संशयावरून सुरक्षा दलांनी केलेल्या कथित गोळीबारात ११ लोकांचा मृत्यू (Nagaland Firing News) झाल्याचे समोर आले आहे. या घटनेनंतर परिसरात तणावपूर्ण वातावरण निर्माण झाले. नागालँडचे मुख्यमंत्री नेफियू रियो यांनी या घटनेला दुजोरा देत घडलेली घटना निंदनीय असून लोकांनी शांतता राखावी. या प्रकरणाचा सखोल तपास SIT करणार असल्याचंही त्यांनी सांगितले. या घटनेसंदर्भात ट्विटरद्वारे बोलताना मुख्यमंत्री नेफियू रियो यांनी सांगितले की, मोन ओटिंगच्या नागरिकांची हत्या ही दुर्दैवी घटना आहे. या घटनेत जखमी झालेल्यांची प्रकृती लवकरच चांगली होईल तसेच मृतांच्या कुटुंबीयांप्रति सहानुभूती आहे. या प्रकरणाचा तपास उच्चस्तरीय एसआयटी करेल तसेच कायद्यानुसार न्याय दिला जाईल. मात्र, लोकांनी शांत रहावे असे आवाहन त्यांनी केले. दरम्यान, केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह (Home Minister Amit Shah) यांनी देखील या घटनेवर ट्विटरद्वारे दु:ख व्यक्त केलं.
ते म्हणाले, नागालँडमध्ये घडलेली घटना दु:खद आहे. या घटनेत ज्या लोकांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. त्यांच्या कुटुंबीयांप्रती संवेदना व्यक्त करतो. या घटनेचा तपास राज्य सरकारद्वारे स्थापन करण्यात आलेली उच्चस्तरीय एसआयटी करणार असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
