Aurangabad : Policenama online Aurangabad ACB Trap | The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Aurangabad has registered a case against a police constable and a police patil who demanded a bribe of Rs 50,000 to manage the complainant and Rs 1500 for food in a case of molestation. The team of Aurangabad ACB has registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act (Prevention of Corruption Act) against the two at the Bidkeen Police Station of Aurangabad Rural. In this case, FIR was lodged against police constable Vijay Pawar attached to the Bidkeen Police Station and Police Patil Gulab Chhagan Chavan of Dongrunaik Tanda. A 40-year-old person had complained to the Aurangabad ACB.

 

A case of molestation has been registered against the complainant at the Bidkeen police station. Both police personnel demanded a bribe of Rs 80,000 to manage the complainant and to help the accused. After a compromise, they settled for Rs 50,000. They also demanded Rs 2000 immediately over the phone for food. After a compromise, they settled for Rs 1500.

 

After the complainant lodged a complaint with the Aurangabad ACB, the team verified it. In the verification, it turned out that the police patil mediated for the compromised amount of the bribe to be paid for getting assistance from the Investigating Officer in the filed case.

 

Accordingly, a case was registered against both of them on Monday.

The action was taken by a team of PI Nandkishor Kshirsagar, Police Constables Rajendra Joshi, Bhushan Desai, Digambar Pathak under the guidance of SP Sandeep Atole, Additional SP Vishal Khambe, DSP Sable.
