New Delhi : Coronavirus cases are increasing continuously in the country. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, the total coronavirus cases across the country have crossed 11400 as of Wednesday morning, a total of 11487 cases have been registered till Wednesday morning of which 9733 are active cases and 1361 have been cured, though 393 People have also died due to coronavirus.

To prevent the spread of coronavirus across the country, Prime Minister Modi has extended the lockdown period to 19 days across the country and the lockdown is now in force across the country till May 3. Lockdow has been in the country since March 25, but despite this there has been an increase in coronavirus cases in the country. Although the rate at which coronavirus has increased in other countries of the world, coronavirus is not increasing in India.

The highest number of coronavirus cases are seen in India in Maharashtra, where a total of 2684 cases have been reported so far, 1561 cases in Delhi and 1204 in Tamil Nadu. Apart from these states, where there has been a rapid increase in corona virus cases, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are ahead.

A total of 1005 cases have been reported in Rajasthan, 741 in Madhya Pradesh, 650 in Gujarat, 660 in Uttar Pradesh, 644 in Telangana and 483 in Andhra Pradesh.

So far 393 people have died due to Coronavirus across the country and the maximum number of 178 people have died in Maharashtra, 53 in Madhya Pradesh, 30 in Delhi and 28 in Gujarat due to this deadly virus.
