Junagadh : A unique wedding was organized by Satyam Seva Yuvak Mandal, a charitable organization in Junagadh. The bride, 5.5 feet tall tied the knot with a 3-foot groom! In this regard, the President of Satyam Seva Yuvak Mandal, Mansukhbhai Vaja, said that many blind daughters are studying at Andh Kanya Hostel, a sister organization of Satyam Seva Yuvak Mandal. Meanwhile there was one such daughter.
The daughter, Shantaben Arjanbhai Makwana of Rajeshhar village in Mendarda taluka, is 5.5 feet tall and has studied up to BEd in a blind girls hostel. Meanwhile, she is married to Rameshbhai Gandabhai Dangar, a resident of Butavadar in Jamjodhpur taluka. Rameshbhai has studied up to BA, PTC and is currently working as a primary teacher in a taluka school in Sadodar village. She is also given a range of 78 household items ranging from gold jewelry to utensils.
