Maharashtra Confirms 9,915 Coronavirus Cases with Fresh 597 Cases

Mumbai : With 597 new patients of COVID-19 in Maharashtra on Wednesday, the total number of infected in the state has increased to 9,915. A Health Department official said that 32 more people died due to Coronavirus infection. So far 432 people in the state have lost their lives due to COVID-19. On Wednesday, 475 people were found infected only in Mumbai, after which the figure reached 6,644 in the city, of which 270 patients have died from this infection. In last 24 hours, 26 deaths have been reported in Mumbai, three in Pune, one each in Solapur, Aurangabad and Panvel cities.

In Thane division of Mumbai, the number of infections reached 7,764 whereas 290 people have died so far. Pune has so far reported 1309 cases of infection, out of which 93 people have died. There are 723 detained areas in the state.

According to the data provided by the state government, there have been 9,915 cases of infection in the state so far, of which 597 are new cases. At the same time 432 people have died and 1,593 people have become infection free. 7,890 people are undergoing treatment in Maharashtra and 1,37,159 people have been screened so far.
