Mumbai : The second wave of corona is now seen to be decreasing gradually and Maharashtra may ease the lockdown (Maharashtra Lockdown News). In view of this, the state government has also started relaxing the rules and restrictions from the month of April. The state government has prepared a five-level system to decide how much relaxation will be given and where it will be tightened. Municipalities, cities and districts which have less than five percent positivity rate and oxygen beds are less than 25 percent filled, those places have been kept in the first phase. 100 percent discount is given in the places covered in the first phase, all rules and restrictions are removed. Only the three-point rules of Corona (mask, social distancing, no crowding) have to be followed. But where the positivity rate is high and the oxygen beds are more full, the rules and restrictions remain strict.

Two weeks have passed since this five-stage classification rule was implemented. For the next week, in which districts, cities and municipalities, the state government has released a report related to how much relaxation will be given in the rules. Under this, 25 districts of the state have been kept in the first phase. These districts will get 100% unlock exemption.

Positivity rate in districts coming in the first phase
The positivity rate of less than five percent i.e. the names of the districts coming in the first phase and the percentage of their positivity rate are as follows. Gondia (0.27), Chandrapur (0.62), Parbhani (0.94), Jalgaon (0.95), Bhandara (0.96), Wardha (1.12), Nagpur (1.25), Jalna (1.51), Hingoli (1.93), Nanded (1.94), Amravati (1.97), Dhule (2.42), Latur (2.55), Washim (2.79), Aurangabad (2.94), Buldhana (2.98), Ahmednagar (3.06), Nandurbar (3.13), Gadchiroli (3.53), Solapur (3.73), Mumbai (3.79), Yavatmal (3.79), Nashik (4.39), Thane (4.69), Akola (4.97).

Positivity rate in districts not covered in the first phase
Those districts that do not come in the first phase are those where the positivity rate is more than 5 percent and where oxygen beds in hospitals are more than 25 percent full. The names of the districts coming in these second, third and fourth phases and the percentage of positivity rate are as follows. Palghar (5.18), Osmanabad (5.21), Yavatmal Rural (5.24), Beed (7.11), Sangli (8.10), Satara (8.91), Sindhudurg (9.06), Pune (9.88), Ratnagiri (11.90), Raigarh (12.77) , Kolhapur (13.77). In the fifth phase, those districts come where the positivity rate is more than 20 percent and where more than 75 percent oxygen beds are filled. The strictest restrictions are enforced in such districts. But not a single district of Maharashtra is included in the fifth phase.

All types of shops in the areas of districts, cities and municipalities falling in the first phase will remain open as before the corona and lockdown period. Malls, theatres, multiplexes will open in a regular manner. Restaurants will also be allowed to start. Local service will resume before.

Apart from this, public places, grounds will be allowed to be kept open. Walking and cycling will be allowed. All private offices can also be opened at full capacity. Government offices will also start at 100 percent capacity. Different sports, shooting, socio-cultural-recreational programs will also be exempted. There will be no binding in the events of marriage, funeral, meeting, election. Gyms, salons, beauty parlors, spas, wellness centers will be allowed to open. Public transport services will run as before the lockdown. Section 144 (Jamabandi) and Curfew will not be applicable in the districts and cities falling in the first phase. But according to the situation, the local disaster management department can maintain strictness in the rules if it wants. If the local administration wants, the rules can also be increased strictly.

This is how the state has been divided into five phases
On the basis of positivity rate and occupancy of oxygen beds, the areas of the state have been divided into five phases. In the first phase, those cities and districts come where the positivity rate is less than 5 percent and oxygen beds are less than 25 percent full. In the second level, those cities and districts come where the positivity rate is 5 percent and oxygen beds are filled by 25 to 40 percent. The districts and cities coming in the third phase are those where the positivity rate is 5 to 10 percent and oxygen beds are more than 40 percent full.

In the fourth phase, those districts and cities come where the positivity rate is 10 to 20 percent and oxygen beds are more than 40 percent full. Those districts and cities come in the fifth phase will be where the positivity rate is more than 20 percent and oxygen beds are more than 75 percent. At present, there is no such district in the state which is included in the fifth phase.
