Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime News | A shocking incident has come to light in Kondhwa wherein a youth killed a woman staying with him and her two children by throttling them and later tried to burn their bodies. The Kondhwa police have arrested Vaibhav Rupsen Waghmare (30), a resident of Pisoli but hailing from Latur district. (Pune Crime News)
The deceased have been identified as Amrapali Waghmare (25), Roshni (6) and Aditya (4). The incident took place in a shed on a farm in Pisoli on Wednesday at 9 pm. Sammer Sahebrao Masal (34), a resident of Pisoli has lodged a complaint.
According to the police, Sameer Masal owns a farm in Pisoli. Vaibhav Waghmare stays in a shed since a year as a caretaker. His relative Amrapali Waghmare and her two children used to stay with him. Local residents informed the police when they saw that fire had broke out in the farm. The police and jawans of the fire brigade reached there immediately. Later, the incident came to light.
There was an argument between Vaibhav and Amrapali because the former suspected her of having an affair with another man. In a fit of range, Vaibhav throttled Amrapali and her children. Later, he tried to burn the bodies by using clothes, bedsheet and wood. DCP Vikrant Deshmukh, ACP Pornima Taware,
Sr PI Santosh Sonwane and Sanjay Mogle visited the spot. The accused has been arrested and the Kondhwa police are probing the case.
