Mumbai : Policenama – Garmin India on Monday launched two new and advanced GPS smartwatches in its Venu series, which come with stainless steel bezels and comfortable silicone bands. The Venu 2 and Venu 2S smartwatches come with a 45mm watch case and 40mm watch case respectively. The company has made the Garmin Venu 2 smartwatch available for Rs 41,990, while the Garmin Venu 2S will be available for Rs 37,990 across various online and offline channels.
The smartwatch has over 25 built-in indoor and GPS sports activity trackers for running, walking, cycling, pool swimming, golf, Pilates & yoga, indoor climbing, bouldering and hiking.
Ali Rizvi, Director, Garmin India said, “Venu and Venu SQ have received impressive response from our customers in India and other parts of the world. To carry forward the fitness legacy of our customers, we have brought in the new Venu 2 and Venu 2S to guide users with their workouts, leading them towards an active lifestyle.”
Corning Gorilla Glass 3 touchscreen has been given in the Venu series with AMOLED display. Along with this, it has a new Health Snapshot feature providing in-depth workout reports, better battery life with faster battery recharge and a new Battery Saver Mode.
Apart from this, the smartwatch also includes respiratory tracking, pulse aux sensor, body battery energy monitoring, stress tracking, pregnancy and menstrual cycle monitoring, sleep monitoring as well as other additional health monitoring metrics to track users’ fitness goals and progress. Various features are given.

The Garmin Venu 2 can also detect movement and breathing with light and REM sleep stages. Along with this, this device also gives sleep scores according to the quantity and quality of sleep of the previous nights of the users. Apart from this, this smartwatch also gives insight on how a person can improve his sleep.
The company said, with faster recharging, users can enjoy an increased battery life of up to 11 days in smartwatch mode and up to 8 hours in GPS mode on Venu 2 and up to 10 days in smartwatch mode and up to 7 hours in GPS mode on Venu 2S.
