policenama online | Pune Crime News : The dead body of the 29-year-old driver of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) driver was found brutally murdered on Handewadi-Katraj road.
Police have identified the deceased as Gautam Machhindra Salunkhe resident of Papadevasti in Fursungi.
As per the police, Salunkhe was working as a PMPML driver for the last two and a half years.
On Saturday, he deployed on the route between Swargate and Dhayari. According to police, after the duty, he left Swargate depot around 10 pm. He was on a boke.
When he failed to reach home till Sunday morning, his father-in-law went to the depot in Swargate depot to make inquired about him. But he was told that Salunkhe had gone home after completing his duty at night.
On Sunday afternoon, police Salunkhe’s body with his disfigured face was found in an open space in the Handewadi area. According to the primary information, the killer tried to disfigure his face purposely. a team from the Police are investigating the case.
Salunkhe is survived by his wife and two-year-old daughter. Married seven years ago, he stayed at his father-in-law’s place.
