Pune crime | Youth rapes 17-year-old girl by threatening, using his influential relative’s name
Pune : Policenama online – Pune crime | A 17-year-old youth frequently raped a girl his age by issuing threats that he is related to a local politician. He told her that he would not allow her and her family to breathe easy, if she complained to anyone.
The minor victim’s mother lodged a complaint at the Sinhagad road police station in this regard. The incident took place at Dhayari from June 20, 2020 till date. The complainant’s daughter knew the accused from Uttamnagar. He raped her frequently by threatening and blackmailing her.
The girl stopped talking to the accused. Then he told her, “You are not talking to me for so long. We are in a relationship. You will have to marry me. My brother-in-law is a corporator. If you reject my proposal, then I will not let you and your family breathe easy.”
The girl then narrated the incident to her mother. Her mother lodged a complaint at the Sinhagad road police station. The youth has been arrested. PSI Tandale is investigating the case.
