Pune: Educational Endeavours! Indrani Balan Foundation Donates School Bus to Sri Gyan Mandir School of Shikhar Shinganapur

Pune: On behalf of ‘Indrani Balan Foundation’, a school bus was given to Sri Gyan Mandir School of Shikhar Shinganapur, Taluka Man, District Satara, run by the Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth. Punit Balan, the president of the ‘Indrani Balan Foundation’ and a young entrepreneur, handed over the school bus key to the organization today.

Today, the small event of passing the keys of the school bus to the organization took place. On this occasion, various dignitaries, such as Punit Balan, apex members of the ‘Art of Living’ foundation, Rajay Shastare, Aditya Joshi, Amol Yewale, and Mahesh Soni, along with the Board of Trustees of the organization, were present.

‘Indrani Balan Foundation’ and ‘Punit Balan Group’ have been doing great social work in various fields not only across the state but across the country. The imprints of their social work have reached till Kashmir. The organization is specifically active in academic, spiritual, sports, and social work. They have also performed their social responsibility duties with the police department and the army.

As a part of their social responsibility, a school bus with a capacity of 41 seats was provided through the ‘Indrani Balan Foundation’ to the Sri Gyan Mandir School, which is running under the Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth at Shikhar Shinganapur. Shikhar Shinganapur is comparatively a drought-prone area in Satara district, and the facility of school bus for students in this area will help them in their education.

While speaking at the event, Punit Balan, the chairman of the ‘Indrani Balan Foundation’, said, “Education is the greatest tool for the progress of society. This school bus was given to Sri Gyan Mandir School in the spirit that students from normal families in drought-stricken and rural areas should not be deprived of this education only due to lack of transportation facilities. I am deeply satisfied that I could contribute to this noble work.”
