Sangrur, Nov 2 (UNI) Six people, including a 5-year-old child travelling in a car, died in an accident between a car and an oil tanker on Sunam Mehlan Road in Sangrur district late at night on Wednesday. (Punjab)
According to police information, all the people had gone from Sunam to Malerkotla to pay obeisance, and while coming back, they met with an accident near Sunam.
The deceased were identified as Vijay Kumar (50), Divesh Kumar (33), Deepak Jindal (32), Krishna Kumar, Neeraj Singla, and a minor. (Punjab)
The police reached the spot and recovered the bodies.
Further investigation has been started.
