Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi : Ancient Pillars, Wells & Temple Doorstep Found During Leveling
Ayodhya : Remnants of the temple have been found during the leveling in Ayodhya-Ram Janmabhoomi. These include the amalakas of the temple, stone pillars with idols, ancient wells, and the frame of the temple.

On behalf of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, the work of leveling is being done in sanctum by following the lockdown. Excavation is being done using JCB. In which ancient remains of the temple have been found. According to the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust the construction of the Ram temple was delayed due to the lockdown. Due to which work was started in the temple. The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has also issued a pressnote regarding this matter.

Ayodhya Saints Want Temple to be Opened
Earlier in Ayodhya, priests demanded that the temples be kept open for pilgrims. He has also demanded an economic package for Vedic Brahmins, who are in deep distress due to the lack of ‘Dakshina’ (offerings) due to the absence of devotees in lockdown. Mahant Kanhaiya Das, president of the Ayodhya Sant Samiti, said, “If markets and liquor shops can be allowed to operate, then why are the temples still closed?” We demand that temples should also be allowed to open in this holy city as per the norms of social distancing.”
