Narendra Panditrao Patil (44) from Pashan lodged a complaint at the Wanawadi Police Station. Accordingly, the police filed a case against Usman Rashid Sheikh from Wanawadi, Atiq Usman Sheikh, Asif Sheikh, Jilani Nazir Subedar from Handewadi, Sunny Subhash Khanwilkar from Handewadi, Rahul Sakharam Landge from Kolhapur. The incident took place between February 23, 2016 and July 15, 2017.
According to the police, the complainant runs ‘W West Corporation’ firm. His acquaintance Usman Shaikh, with the help of others, promised to supply raw material and paper to his firm. He gained his trust by promising that he would supply the goods through a firm. The accused took Rs 91.54 lakh from him in cash as well as online in exchange for providing the raw material. However, the accused did not provide any goods. Even after the complainant demanded several times, the accused didn’t return his money. Finally, the complainant approached the police and lodged the complaint.
