Pune : Policenama online – Pune Pimpri Crime | A man chased a girl proposing that, “I love you and want to marry you”. He molested a girl by tugging to her dress. The incident took place on a public road in front of a competitive examination centre at Gavhane Vasti around 3:30 pm on Monday. (Pune Pimpri Crime)
A 24-year-old girl has lodged a complaint at the Bhosari Police Station. An FIR under sections 354, 354 (d) of IPC has been filed against Martand Bhimrao Pawar (36) from Bhosari.
According to the police, the accused stalked the complainant from time to time from August 2021. He forced her for friendship saying, “I love you and want to marry you.” The complainant ignored him. However, on Sunday, when the complainant was walking on a public road in front of the competitive examination centre, the accused chased her. He held her dress and stopped her forcefully. The complainant also mentioned that he grabbed her hand and misbehaved.
The Bhosari police are conducting further investigation.
